Configure Claude Desktop (MCP)

Generate your personal MCP configuration snippet from the Onboarding page in your dashboard — it includes your unique endpoint and API key.

Open Claude Desktop's config file (Settings → Developer → Edit Config on macOS/Windows) and add the Unimatrix server block from that snippet under `mcpServers`.

The endpoint is `https://www.deployunimatrix.com/api/mcp` and authentication uses a Bearer token in the form `umx_...` — do not share this key, it grants full access to your memory vault.

Fully quit and reopen Claude Desktop after editing the config (a reload is not enough). You should then see Unimatrix listed under Claude's connected MCP servers, and your assistant will be able to call memory tools directly.
